I, Lucifer
I, Lucifer
is the second studio album by American metalcore band Destroy the Runner. The album was released on April 15, 2008 through Solid State Records. This is the first album and last album to feature Chad Ackerman as lead vocalist and Tanner Sparks as bassist. This is also the last release by the band, though the band did record their third album but were unable to release it after they broke-up. The album features a more progressive post-hardcore style than their debut album featuring less screamed vocals and more singing. The day of the release Destroy the Runner played a short set for free at Lou's Records in Encinitas, California. The album was recorded with Brian McTernan (Circa Survive, Strike Anywhere) at Salad Days Studio. A description of the album and e-cards produced by their record label, Solid State Records, can be found on their MySpace page.
